Blake Shelton‘s girlfriend Gwen Stefani is taking a former member of his team to the Top 12 on The Voice Season 12.
Last night (4/18) was night two of the Live Playoffs on the award winning TV singing competition. Gwen and Adam Levine had their artists singing live to either get America’s vote to advance to next week’s competition on the show or be the one artist that the coach would get to chose to remain on the team.
During the Battle Rounds, Gwen used her steal to bring Team Blake member Brennley Brown to Team Gwen. Brennley survived the Knockout Rounds to advance to the Live Playoffs with Gwen.
Last night Brennley performed the song hit country song “Fly” by Maddie & Tae. Watch the 15-year-old’s performance below…
At the end of last night’s live episode the results for Team Gwen were revealed…
Brennley was the first person on Team Gwen that America saved. That means she is now part of the Top 12 on the show. If she keeps advancing and makes it to the finals, Gwen could beat her boyfriend Blake Shelton on the show with an artist that was on his team.
You can see what artists are on all of the teams at the official website of The Voice here.
Shania Twain will be working as a key advisor with the Top 12 on The Voice starting this coming Monday, April 24th as the Live Playoffs continue starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
