Luke Bryan‘s latest single “Fast” is his latest number one song as of this week.
The Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck advance singles charts have been released and Luke Bryan has made it to the top of both charts for this week.
“Fast” marks the sixth single out of six from his current album Kill The Lights that have reached the #1 spot on the singles charts for radio airplay. The song also become not only Luke’s 18th career chart topper, but also his 18th consecutive #1 single!
The chart topping single comes a day after he served as co-host with Dierks Bentley on the 52nd ACM Awards Show. Country music awards weeks are turning out to be a good week for Luke as his last number one single “Move” came the week of the 50th CMA Awards last fall.
Luke explains what it is he hopes people will take away from the lyrics of this latest #1 song, “Life does move too fast. Every time I come home my boys are bigger and starting to throw me around the house a little more, and one day I’ll snap my fingers and you wish you could have frozen time a little bit. And I think any time you can help people slow down and reflect on that and remember to take things in stride a little bit better, I think people love hearing that in a song.”
Congratulations to Luke Bryan on his #1 song “Fast.”
