I found this short video called Eating Twinkies With God and it has a great lesson for us all to learn.

The video was Directed, Produced and posted on YouTube by Meir Key. I am not getting religious on you, so just stick with me on this to the end.

The idea of the two-minute story is that this young boy decides to go look for God. He packs some Twinkies and some drinks in his backpack and heads out on his quest.

When he gets to the park he finds somebody to share his snacks with.

When the boy arrives home he has a revelation to share with his mom. The woman he shared his snack with has a revelation of her own when she catches up with a friend.

Here is the lesson that I believe we can all take away from this touching short story. No matter what your religious beliefs are, we all need to just be kind to one another.

We don’t know what circumstances brought others to where they are in life now. We should not judge anybody based on their appearance in any way.

If we are kind to one another at all times we can brighten the day of somebody without even knowing that we did.

In short, if we all acted as if we were Eating Twinkies With God in everything we do, the world would become a better place for us all.

Of course that is just my opinion…
