Blake Shelton needed just one more artists to complete his team for season 12 of The Voice last night (3/14) during the Blind Auditions.
17-year-old Dawson Coyle took the stage on the singing competition and performed the song “Happiness” by the christian rock band NEEDTOBREATH for his Blind Audition. Blake and Gwen Stefani kept exchanging looks while thinking about pushing their buttons. At the end of the performance Blake redirected Gwen’s focus and then pressed his button to bring Dawson to Team Blake uncontested.
Blake was the first coach to complete his team last night. However, all the coaches got the artists they needed to complete their respective teams for the show. See all of the completed team at the official website of The Voice here.
Tonight the show will air a special look back at the season 12 Blind Auditions at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 eastern time).
Monday, March 20th the Battle Rounds begin on season 12 of The Voice. The coaches will pair off team members to perform together and against each other to remain on the show. The advisers this season that will help the coaches prepare their artists for the head-to-head competition are Luke Bryan for Team Blake, John Legend for Team Adam, Celine Dion for Team Gwen and DJ Khaled for Team Alicia.
This season of The Voice has the potential of being one of the best ever for the Battle Rounds and beyond.
