Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins just shared big baby news … like baby news times TWO!

The couple have been spending time in Africa in the past year or so. Now we know at least one of the reasons for the trips, or perhaps it is a by product of those trips.

Either way, the couple announced via their social media accounts that they will soon be bringing home a baby that they are adopting from Africa. What makes the news even bigger is that as they are about to welcome an adopted child to the family they have also found out that Lauren is pregnant!

We are so happy to announce that we are pregnant and we are in the process of adopting a child from Africa! Safe to say life is about to get crazy! 😜
