Chicago Cub’s World Series hero, and fan favorite, David Ross will be headlining The American Red Cross’s 24th Evening of Stars on Tuesday, April 18 at the Marriott in Uptown Normal. The Evening of Stars is the largest fundraiser to support the local Red Cross.
Tickets for the event are $150 each or guests can enjoy the red carpet experience for $500. Tickets can be ordered by calling the Red Cross at (309) 662 – 0500.
David Ross finished his baseball career in the greatest way possible, helping the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series since 1908. “Grandpa Rossy” hit a HUGE home run during Game 7 of the World Series to become the oldest player in Major League history to hit a home run in a Game 7.
