One of the coaches for season 12 of The Voice will receive a major honor just prior to the premiere of the new season of the hit NBC singing competition.
Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine will be listening for that special something in the voice of the hopefuls when the Blind Auditions premiere February 27th on NBC TV.
However, one of those four coaches apparently already have that special something that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce looks for when deciding who gets to be included on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with their very own star.
Adam Levine will be the 2,601st person to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is being honored in the category of Recording as the front man and primary songwriter of the multi-GRAMMY Award-winning band Maroon 5.
Adam and Blake are the only two coaches on The Voice to have been a part of every season. Although the two pick on each other massively on the show, the two are actually good friends. With that in mind it makes sense that Blake is one of the scheduled performers for Adam’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star unveiling ceremony February 10th. Sammy Hagar is also scheduled to perform at the ceremony that will be streamed live starting at 2:30 PM Eastern Time (1:30 PM Central Time, 11:30 AM Pacific Time) exclusively on www.walkoffame.com.
Congratulations to Adam Levine on such a well-deserved honor! It will be interesting to see what is said about the whole thing during The Voice Season 12 between Adam and Blake.
