Dustin Lynch is one of the opening acts for the Florida Georgia Line 2017 “Dig Your Roots Tour” and he is excited to be a part of the musical party.

Dustin doesn’t have to worry about getting to know the headliners on this tour, “I’ve known Tyler and BK for a long time and got to see their show many of times and it’s amazing.”

What is one of the best things about a Florida Georgia Line concert to Dustin? “The energy’s as high as it can get,” he explains, “The crowd’s young and [ready to] party and that’s what I love about this tour.”

Dustin, like most all country music stars, has honed his skills playing bars, county fairs and such to get to where he is today. How does he feel about being the act that is on just before the headliner?

“You know we went out with Chris Young at the end of last year and got to be direct support for him,” Dustin shares, adding that he, “got to get a taste of what that’s like to have everybody in their seats already when you take the stage.”

Florida Georgia Line (FGL) has become one of the biggest touring acts out there and Dustin knows that being on stage just before them is going to be big. “To get to do that with FGL’s crowd is gonna be pretty intense,” Dustin admits.

Dustin will get to start feeling that intensity tonight as the 2017 “Dig Your Roots Tour” with Florida Georgia Line and special guests Dustin Lynch and Chris Lane kicks off tonight (1/27) inĀ Tallahassee, Florida. That tour will also make a stop here in central Illinois at the State Farm Center in Champaign Thursday, February 23rd. Get concert and ticket details here.

Dustin’s current single “Seein’ Red” is currently at #4 on the country radio airplay charts. You can listen for the song on B104. It is the lead single from a yet to be named third studio album that Dustin has not revealed a release date for at this point. However, you can watch the steamy and fun music video for “Seein’ Red” below.
