Is Reba McEntire heading back to the small screen? It looks like the answer is YES.
Reba is no stranger to acting as she has been in several movies and has been on TV with her own sitcoms “Reba” and “Malibu Country.”
The multi-talented superstar is reportedly headed into the drama category with this new 2017 TV show. Country Rebel reports that the show will air on ABC TV and has yet to be titled. However, the new show will bring Reba together with Marc Cherry, the creator of “Desperate Housewives.”
The show is described as, “a Southern Gothic soap opera that is set in motion after a suspected act of terrorism happens at a Fourth of July parade in the small town of Oxblood, Ky. The FBI sends a cocky agent of Middle Eastern descent to investigate. He teams with the mercurial local sheriff to uncover secrets far darker than either could have ever imagined.”
Reba posted the picture at the top of the page on her Facebook page earlier today (12/13). It appears that she is holding a script she wrote the message, “Excited about a fun 2017!!!!”
Are you excited about Reba’s possible return to TV next year?
