Luke Bryan‘s latest single “Move” has risen to the number one spot on one chart and is holding steady at #1 on the other.

Last week Luke hit the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart to score his 17th career chart topper. “Move” also became a historic #1 for Luke as it was the fifth single from his album Kill The Lights to reach number one. While Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley have also marked five chart topping singles from a single album, Luke becomes the first to reach that mark on TWO different albums as Crash My Party also produced five number ones for him.

This week the advanced Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart shows “Move” reaching the #1 spot on that chart for this week while the advanced Billboard chart shows Luke holding the top spot for a second consecutive week.

Luke says his latest #1 song “Move” is, “all the fun you could want to have in a song in my opinion. It’s what I envision, big ole country dance clubs across the country playing that and it filling up and everybody having a great time.”

Luke co-wrote the song and explains the idea behind the it. “There’s a little inside story about a girl that moves to the south and she’s kind of shy,” Luke says, “then, she gets in with these kind of rebel crowd girls and they teach her how to let her hair down and all that, it’s pretty fun. A lot of imagery in that. Kind of a cool picture painted in that, and [I’m] really proud that I got to write that song with Michael Carter and Jay Clementi. We worked our butts off on it.”

Congratulations to Luke Bryan for the two-chart, two-week #1 song “Move.”
