Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and more will help welcome Christmas time to New York City and America on NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center special.
Today Show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Hoda Kotb will host the star-studded celebration of the lighting of the world’s most famous Christmas Tree.
Dolly, Garth and Trisha will do special holiday performances on the show that will also include Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, Josh Groban, Tori Kelly, Sarah McLachlan, Jordan Smith, the Radio City Rockettes and more.
The 84th annual tree lighting will feature a 94-foot tall, 56-foot wide Norway spruce from Oneonta, N.Y. It is approximately 90 years old, weighs approximately 14 tons, and will be decorated with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights.
The Christmas in Rockefeller Center special will air on NBC TV Wednesday, November 30th from 7-8 PM central time (8-9 PM eastern time). Prior to the prime-time telecast, an additional live hour of the special will be broadcast on select NBC stations 6-7 PM central time (7-8 PM ET). Check local listings.
