The Knockout Rounds began on The Voice Season 11 last night. Blake Shelton has to continue cutting down the members of #TeamBlake in preparation for the live shows. Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus must also do the same to their respective teams. Helping all of the coaches and artists in the Knockout Rounds this season are husband and wife superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as the Key Advisors.

Let’s take a look at what happened with Team Blake on last night’s episode of The Voice. In the Knockout Rounds, the artists choose what song they will sing and instead of doing a duet style performance as in the Battle Rounds, each artist gets to sing their chosen song solo.

Blake paired Sundance Head against Josh Gallagher for the Knockout Round. Sundance Head decided to sing the song “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus. At the suggestion of Tim and Faith, he performed the song acoustically playing his guitar without the band backing him up, only some background singers joined him vocally.

Josh Gallagher picked the classic country hit from Brooks & Dunn “My Maria” for his performance. Tim and Faith pointed out that this was a tall order to live up to the amazing vocals of Ronnie Dunn. However, Josh proved he was up to the challenge.

Both artists did a great job which left Blake with a very difficult decision. Ultimately he decided to keep Sundance Head on Team Blake for the live shows. Josh will also be heading to the live shows though because Adam decided to use his “Steal” to move him to Team Adam on the show.

Adam Levine paired Riley Elmore with Jason Warrior for the Knockout Round. Riley chose to sing the song “Haven’t Met You Yet” by Michael Bublé. The young crooner did an amazing job on the song.

Jason picked the song “I Want You” by Luke James for his performance. The emotions exuded through the performance were well beyond the years of the singer on stage.

Adam made the decision to keep Riley on his team for the live shows. But, that did not mean the end of the road for Jason as Blake chose to use his “Steal” to bring Jason to Team Blake for the live shows.

You can see how the other teams stand following the first night of the Knockout Rounds on season 11 of The Voice here.

The competition continues tonight with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill helping the coaches prepare the artists for their performances on The Voice Season 11 tonight at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC TV.
