The stars of country music gathered in Nashville to honor some of their own with the 2016 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony.
This year’s honorees included Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett.
Kelsea Ballerini received the “Breakout Artist of the Year” honor and Shania Twain was honored with the “CMT Artist of a Lifetime” award.
Along with handing out the awards, there were plenty of great performances. Florida Georgia Line performed their latest single “May We All” that you can watch at the top of the page.
Thomas Rhett joined pop star Zara Larsson to perform a mash-up their songs “Die A Happy Man” and “Never Forget You.” Watch the performance just below.
Kelsea Ballerini took the stage to sing her #1 song “Peter Pan.” You can watch that performance at the bottom of the page.
If you missed the airing of the special last night (or just want to see it again), you can watch the complete show online at the CMT website here.
If you want to watch the special on TV (or DVR it), it will be rebroadcast on CMT this weekend a few times.
