Cole Swindell gets to do some pretty cool things as one of country music’s hottest rising stars.
The obvious is that he gets to travel the world performing concerts with his fellow country music stars like Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and more. He is currently on the road as part of the Florida Georgia Line “Dig Your Roots Tour.”
Recently Cole participated in the Miss America pageant as a judge.
This Sunday (10/16) Cole will get to be a part of NASCAR‘s Chase for the Sprint Cup. He will serve as the honorary starter for the fifth race in The Chase. Cole will be in the starter’s stand at the Kansas Speedway to wave the green flag to start the Hollywood Casino 400.
The “Dig Your Roots Tour” will be in Kansas City the night before (10/15) and Cole has been invited to stay in the area after the concert to be at Kansas Speedway the next day for the honor.
The Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race will start at 1:15 PM central time (2:15 eastern time) and will be broadcast on NBC/NBC Sports App.
Cole will have a unique, firsthand perspective for the start of the Sprint Cup race. Congratulations on such a thrilling opportunity.
Just one piece of advise Cole, don’t drop the flag!
