Tyler Farr surprised his Bride Hannah Freeman with a live performance from Brad Paisley as their first dance at their wedding.
Monday (10/10) Tyler and Hannah said “I Do” to each other to become husband and wife. Apparently the bride had one request of her groom, she wanted him to write a song for their first dance at the wedding. PEOPLE quotes Tyler as saying, “I’ve written a ton of songs about her, but she wanted one for our wedding.”
He tried very hard to grant her wish, but he just couldn’t manage to accomplish the task, “My buddy Lee Brice wrote ‘I Don’t Dance’ for his own wedding — the perfect wedding first dance song! — and I could not live up to that expectation.”
This past summer Tyler was out on the road with Brad Paisley on tour and had the chance to hear one of his new songs called “Today.” While Tyler was unable to write the song as his Bride had requested, he did make a plan to surprise her in a different way on their wedding day.
“I was on his bus and he showed me the video and I just teared up,” he tells PEOPLE, “I’m very blunt and I was like, ‘That song was amazing and I want to surprise my fiancée with something really special. Would you come and play this song for our first dance?'”
Tyler points out that Brad being a “a good friend and a great guy” was happy to oblige him. Tyler shared a video clip of Brad’s performance for the newlywed’s first dance on his Facebook page that you can watch above.
A tip of the hat to Brad Paisley for making the day extra special for the Bride and Groom.
Congratulations to the newlyweds Tyler Farr and Hannah Freeman!
