Faith Hill and Tim McGraw revealed to fans that they will be joining The Voice Season 11 in a first for the hit TV show.

Faith posted the picture above to her Twitter account with the message “Your season 11 Key Advisors for #VoiceKnockouts starting Monday, Oct 24th on @nbc!” yesterday (10/4). Tim posted the same picture and message to his Twitter account.

The official Twitter account of The Voice also shared the news last night.

Even though they are married to each other, Faith and Tim are separate artists in their musical careers. That means this is the first time in the 11 season of the singing competition that two music artists has served as Key Advisors together. That is if you consider The Band Perry and Little Big Town as one artist although they are multiple person groups that advised for #TeamBlake in past seasons.

CountryRebel.com quotes Faith as saying, “I think having the perspective of performing live in many different venues, from clubs to stadiums, will help us in working with The Voice artists this season. It’s important that they be able to connect with their audience.”

Tim added, “I really like to dig into songs and how they need to be presented in a live environment. I’m looking forward to working with the coaches to help the artists reach their potential.”

Of course one of the coaches is fellow country music star Blake Shelton, and Faith and Tim also have a connection with rookie coach Miley Cyrus through her country music connections as well.

This news about The Voice gig was shared after the country music couple performed a concert in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium where they announced their 2017 “Soul 2 Soul Tour.” See the cities and dates for that tour here.

As a fan of The Voice, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, I am looking forward to seeing them on the show in the Knockout Rounds!
