Thomas Rhett is leaving his time on Jason Aldean‘s tour with more than lessons learned for the future, he also has a new ATV!
Thomas Rhett has spent the summer as an opening act for Jason’s “Six String Circus Tour” and last weekend Jason gave him a gift to say thanks for all the hard work, a brand new camouflaged ATV from Polaris.
Thomas Rhett posted the video below to Instagram to show off the amazing end-of-tour gift which features a winch that Thomas Rhett felt the need to test out.
Thomas Rhett also shared the picture at the top of the page with the message, “One more… Can’t thank this guy enough for a great year and great tour. Glad I learned from one of the best. @jasonaldean”
Thomas Rhett will get to put the lessons he learned from Jason and all of the other headliners he has worked with on his first headlining tour in 2017. His “Home Team Tour” with special guests Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd will stop at the Peoria Civic Center Saturday, February 25th, 2017. Tickets go on sale Friday (10/7) morning at 10am at www.LiveNation.com, all Ticketmaster Outlets or you can call the box office at 800-745-3000.
However, you can win those tickets before you can buy them at 7:10 AM Wednesday (10/5), Thursday (10/6) and Friday (10/7) with Faith and Hunter in the Morning on B104!
For Jason, the end of the tour means getting to work on filming his hunting show Buck Commander with his friend Luke Bryan. “As soon as the tour ends, we start filming for Buck Commander,” Jason shares. “Me and Luke will be headed to wherever…Texas and Kansas and Missouri and wherever else we’re gonna go this year to film for the show.”
It is not as easy as just choosing a place and going hunting though. “Usually he and I kind of plan it together ’cause we’re trying to plan it around award shows and all this other kind of stuff,” Jason reveals, “So, we’ll have about, I don’t know, probably three or four hunts between now and January that we’ll try to make it to and that’ll give us sort of enough footage to film for the whole season.”
Congratulations to Jason Aldean on another hugely successful tour and to Thomas Rhett on a great gift. Be safe with it TR!
