Mel Brooks is one of the most decorated comedians of all time, and at 90 years old, can do pretty much joke with whomever he wants, whenever he wants. Count President Barack Obama to the list of the many people Brooks has pranked. Yesterday Brooks, director of Young Frankenstein and so many other comedy classics, was honored at the White House and received The National Medal of Arts, After having the medal placed around his neck, Brooks immediately bends down and pulls on the pants of the President! No one but Mel Brooks would have the gumption to try that in the White House. Thankfully, the President was wearing a belt.
Brooks, who many forget is a World War II veteran, has been working in the entertainment world for nearly 70 years and he is one of only a handful of entertainers who have won an Academy Award, Grammy, Tony, and Emmy.
