Kelsea Ballerini is celebrating her birthday today with her latest single “Peter Pan” topping the country radio airplay charts.
Kelsea is celebrating her 23rd birthday today and what is likely one of the best birthday presents she will get, her third consecutive number one single. This morning Kelsea even Tweeted her excitement about her birthday #1…
Waking up with a #1 song on my birthday and all kinds of sweet posts and I am EMOTIONAL. thank you for the love.

The advanced Billboard Country Radio Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts both show Kelsea in the top spot for this week. The accomplishment makes Kelsea just one of two female artists to score #1 singles with their first three songs from their debut album. The other artists to achieve that was Wynonna with her debut solo album after her mother had to retire from the duo The Judds.
Kelsea’s debut album The First Time now features chart topping songs “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs” and “Peter Pan.” The album is available digitally and at music stores everywhere.
Before the official advance charts were released today, Kelsea got the news that the #1 was on the way last Saturday (9/10) and posted her excitement along with encouragement to chase your dreams on Twitter…

Kelsea told NASH Country Daily that the next single from the album would be a song called “Yeah Boy.” Why was that single chosen for the fourth single? “We wanted to round out the album and kind of go back to that fun sound that it started with,” Keslea explains. You can hear that next single “Yeah Boy” in the lyric video at the bottom of the page.
Kelsea is already working on her sophomore album. “I’m in the studio now making my second album and it’s going to cover two years rather than [ages] 12–21, so it’s going to be a little more in-depth,” Kelsea reveals. “We thought it would be fun to kind of end [The First Time] on a high note, hopefully, and get a little rootsier on the next one.”
Congratulations to Kelsea Ballerini on her historic third #1 single “Peter Pan,” and Happy Birthday!
