The new album Dig Your Roots from Florida Georgia Line (FGL) has made its debut at number one on the Billboard Country Album sales chart.

The new album from the reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year becomes the second consecutive #1 Billboard Country Album debut for FGL. In the first week of release, Dig Your Roots sold more than 126,000 copies which was enough to also give the duo a debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart.

FGL’s Tyler Hubbard says of the duo’s third studio album, “There’s something for everybody. We still got the party songs, we got the feel good songs, the life songs, the sad songs, we kind of got it all on this album. That’s something we always take pride in, you know, from album one to now, is just making sure that there’s not a song on there that you want to hit skip, and I think we’ve done that on this album for sure.”

Tyler says that the #1 debut is very humbling when one realizes that so many people are willing to lay down their hard-earned money for the album. He then added, “Because of the support on the road, we’ve really been encouraged to take risks with our music and show more of who we are.”

The latest #1 album from FGL has already produced the number one single “H.O.L.Y.” and the second single “May We All” featuring Tim McGraw has climbed into the 25 as of this week on the Billboard Country Radio Airplay singles chart.

Tyler and his partner Brian Kelley are currently out on the road with their “Dig Your Roots Tour” with special guests Cole Swindell, The Cadillac Three and Kane Brown. You can find out where the tour will be stopping here.

Congratulations to Florida Georgia Line on their number one album debut with Dig Your Roots.
