Sam Hunt has not missed hitting number one with his latest single “Make You Miss Me.” In fact, #1 is where he is at this week.
With the release of the advanced Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts, we can tell you that Sam has scored his fourth chart topping single. The song is from his double-platinum, number one album Montevallo that is available everywhere now.
Sam explains the idea behind the gold-selling, #1 single, “This sentiment came out of knowing a girl who, and girls in general, that tend to have the personality to be very into something one minute and over it the next, and not really ever having been in a relationship with a guy because she was over it before it could get started. This is a song about a guy who says he’s not gonna let that happen.” Sam co-wrote the song with Josh Osborne and Matthew Ramsey. You can watch a special acoustic performance of the song in the video at the top of the page.
Congratulations to Sam Hunt on his number one single “Make You Miss Me.”
