CMT Crossroads has announced what should be an amazing collaboration for the series, Alicia Keys and Maren Morris.
The CMT Crossroads series pairs artists from multiple genres with current country music artists for one of a kind concerts that have produced some unique musical experiences for fans to enjoy like Luke Bryan with Jason Derulo, Jennifer Nettles with Cheap Trick, Sara Evans with REO Speedwagon and Steven Tyler with Carrie Underwood to name a few.
The latest pair has the 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys joining one of country music’s hottest new female stars Maren Morris on stage. The tradition of the show will continue as the two singer-songwriters will perform each other’s songs and their own songs solo and together. The unique styles of each of these ladies should combine for a musical experience unlike anything else ever seen.
Maren is obviously excited about the special concert as she posted the following message to her Twitter account:

The special CMT Crossroads concert with Alicia Keys and Maren Morris will be taped in Nashville and will debut on the network December 2nd at 9 p.m. central time (10 p.m. eastern).
Prior to the airing of their CMT Crossroads event, fans will get to see Alicia as she joins season 11 of The Voice as a coach along with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus.
Maren Morris is currently out on Keith Urban‘s “ripCORD World Tour” along with Brett Eldredge which will make a stop here in Bloomington-Normal at the Coliseum Saturday, November 12th.
