Luke Bryan gave some lucky fans the first listen to a brand new song called “Southern Gentleman” and you can hear it here!

Luke decided to treat fans at his VIP backstage experience at a recent stop of his “Kill The Lights Tour” to a song that appears has not been heard by any other public audience anywhere. I couldn’t find any other video of the song on YouTube anyway.

The song’s lyrics are from the perspective of a man singing to his sweetheart and reminiscing about memories of their relationship form the beginning to where they are now. It talks about how the way he was raised dictated how he treated her from the first day on with courtesy and respect.

According to the hook of the song it all comes down to the fact that, “Ain’t Nobody Gonna Love You Better Than … This Southern Gentleman.”

I have to wonder if Luke had a hand in writing this song? If so, my next question is whether or not this is love song from Luke to his wife Caroline and depicts their relationship?

I guess we will just have to wait for Luke himself to tell us about the song and how it came to life. Luckily for us a fan at the VIP backstage experience captured the performance of the song on video and posted it to YouTube.
