Keith Urban takes us behind the scenes of the recording of his new single “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
Keith’s latest #1 album ripCORD has already produced three chart topping singles with the latest “Wasted Time” recently becoming his 21st number one single of his career.
The superstar singer-song writer and accomplished musician has revealed that the next single from the album will be a song called “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” Keith takes us behind the scenes as he recorded the song in the video at the top of the page.
Keith describes the song as “basically a waltz” with a “do-wop kind of thing to it.”
The song is one of the few songs on the album that Keith did not have a hand in writing. He says when he received the song, the lyrics and melody “just kind of hit me.”
I will admit that when I first got the album ripCORD by Keith Urban, this is one of the songs that jumped out at me. It is definitely in my top three songs from the project.
I’m sure we will get to hear Keith sing “Blue Ain’t Your Color” live during his “ripCORD World Tour” stop at the Coliseum in downtown Bloomington Saturday, November 12th. Joining Keith for that concert will be special guests Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris. You can find all the concert and ticket details here.
