Cole Swindell will serve as a celebrity judge for the Miss America Pageant.
The country singer-songwriter has many things on his resume from being Luke Bryan‘s merchandise guy to (according to People) being an athlete and even being a “pretty darn good illustrator.”
That resume will now include a line for being a judge of one of the largest pageant’s in the world.
Cole is pretty excited about the gig, too. “I’m so excited to be a judge at this year’s competition,” Cole tells People, “Knowing how hard the contestants must work to get there, I’m looking forward to helping one of them become Miss America!”
Cole will help decide who will be the new Miss America when the competition is held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, September 11, 2016.
When it comes to Cole’s “day job,” he is currently working on his sixth consecutive #1 single as “Middle Of A Memory” is climbing the charts at #21 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts. Listen for the song on B104. Cole is also out on the road with Florida Georgia Line as part of the “Dig Your Roots Tour.”
Just remember Cole, when you get to the Miss America pageant as a judge, it’s not just about the swimsuit competition.
