It’s time for the Summer Blood Drives with the American Red Cross, Avanti’s, Radio Bloomington and B104.
This the 13th Annual Summer Blood Drive with the Cross, B104 and our sister stations WBNQ and WJBC. This time of year blood supplies tend to drop because everybody gets busy with vacation and summer fun. However, the patients in Central Illinois cannot take a vacation from needing blood.
This is where YOU can become a true hero by donating lifesaving blood!
We have two opportunities for you to help out. Both blood drives will be held at the Avanti’s on the east side of Bloomington, near the airport (3302 E. Empire). All presenting donors will not only get the knowledge that they have literally saved lives, but each donor will receive a free Gondola sandwich compliments of Avanti’s.
13th Annual Summer Blood Drive dates and times are:
- Monday, July 18th – 12 noon to 5:30 pm
- Monday, August 1st – 12 noon to 5:30 pm
