Blake Shelton made an appearance on Chelsea Handler‘s Netfilx show where he told her he’s happier than he’s ever been.

Blake was on the Netflix show Chelsea (7/6) where the talk show host asked him about the inspiration behind his new album If I’m Honest. Blake explained to Chelsea that the inspiration for the album really began, “last year when my marriage and everything just fell apart and then trying to pick the pieces up from being at the rock bottom and trying then to move forward.”

Blake continued explaining that while he was at “rock bottom” he found out that Gwen Stefani was also going through the same thing and their relationship basically just grew from that. Taking it back to the subject of the inspiration for the album Blake said, “All this has to be meant to happen so I made a record about it.”

Blake confessed that he is a bit nervous talking about his relationship with Gwen. Chelsea asked him if he is happier now than he’s been in his entire life? Blake’s response was, “There’s no question about that, absolutely no question about that.”
