Keith Urban is celebrating his second week at #1 while a fan is celebrating getting to play Keith’s guitar on stage during a concert with Keith!
Keith’s latest single “Wasted Time” is spending a second week at number one on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts this week.
Over the holiday weekend a fan got to prove his years of learning and practicing the guitar was NOT wasted time.
Rob Joyce was at the July 2nd stop of Keith’s “RipCORD World Tour” in Gilford, New Hampshire. During his set Keith saw Rob holding a sign with the message, “Can I play your guitar?” To add to the chances that Keith might grant the request, Rob’s girlfriend was next to him holding a sign with the message, “It’s my boyfriend’s birthday!” that included an arrow pointing to Rob.
Apparently the two signs were enough to motivate Keith to grant the birthday boy his request as he invited Rob on stage. After talking with Rob and his girlfriend briefly, Keith handed him the guitar he was wearing and the two launched into Keith’s song “Good Thing” and Rob did a great job playing with Keith and his band.

Don’t forget that Keith Urban will bring his “RipCORD World Tour” to the Coliseum in downtown Bloomington Saturday, November 12th with special guests Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris. Get concert and ticket details here.
Good job Rob and high-five to Keith Urban on giving a fan a birthday memory that will last a lifetime!
