For a second year in a row, NBC will feature Blake Shelton in the open to their broadcasts of the NASCAR Sprint Cup series races.
NBC (which is also the home of the hit singing competition The Voice which Blake has been a part of for every season) had Blake create a slightly altered version of the title track from his last album Bringing Back The Sunshine and filmed a video to use to kick off the network’s broadcasts of the races in the 2015 NASCAR season.
The song is again being used by the network and they have filmed a new video open for the 2016 NASCAR season. NBC will take over the race broadcasts starting this week in Daytona for the Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola Saturday night, July 2nd.
This year’s video open was filmed in April during the spring race weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Blake and several NASCAR drivers can be seen on his bus, in the infield of the track having a good time at a barbecue and on stage with Blake while he is performing.
Blake is set to bring his concert tour to the Peoria Civic Center Thursday, September 15th. You can get concert and ticket details here.
