The Zac Brown Band has always been ready to try new things and this time they are embarking on a three-part music video story called Remedy.
The band has log mixed music genres with country music to create that signature Zac Brown Band style of music. This is one of the many reasons why I have loved their music and the band from the first time I heard them. The Zac Brown Band crafts music that truly engages your ears, minds, hearts and emotions from first note to last.
While I personally think that the musicianship, song writing and style found on every song on every Zac Brown Band album is rarely matched by anybody out there, I will also admit that some of those amazing songs would never work in the world of mainstream-commercial radio. That is something that the band also realizes.
However, with all of the ways of getting music out to fans that are available today, Zac Brown explains in the behind the scenes video above about how the whole idea of the three-video series came about.
The Remedy music video trilogy will highlight the songs “I’ll Be Your Man (Song for a Daughter),” “Tomorrow Never Comes,” and “Remedy” from the band’s latest album Jekyll + Hyde. The entire project was written and directed by Diego Pernía.
In the behind the scenes video above Zac explains, “If you spend any time with Diego, you realize how spiritual he is, and how connected he is to emotion and what he does with pulling out humanity and nature in his work.”
You will be able to watch the Remedy at the Live Nation TV website when the first of the three videos premiers tomorrow (6/10).
