If you love football, tailgating and Kenny Chesney, you might want to plan a trip to Bristol, Tennessee September 9th to be part of what could be the world’s biggest tailgate party.

East Tennessee native Kenny Chesney is set to headline a massive tailgate party at Bristol Motor Speedway which will host what will likely become the most attended college football game in history the very next day.

Friday night, September 9th Kenny will be joined by special guests Old Dominion and The Band Perry for the epic tailgate party and concert at the venue that usually has NASCAR drivers battling for a win. Tickets for “Bristol’s Tailgate Party” will go on sale to the general public this Wednesday, June 8th at bristoltailgateparty.com.

Kenny was raised in East Tennessee but never dreamed he would someday get to play a concert at the iconic racing venue, “I played a lot of music in the Bristol area during that time — and even made my first album there while still in college. I had a lot of dreams then, but never did I dream I would be playing at Bristol Motor Speedway. The idea of that was too big to dream.”

The next day, Saturday, September 10th, Bristol Motor Speedway will be the location for a college football game between the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech. The game is expected to draw an estimated crowd of 150,000 fans to Bristol which would set a record for attendance at a college football game.

Live music, tailgating, college football and the University of Tennessee … yeah, I think Kenny Chesney is the perfect fit for this epic weekend of events.
