The Country Music Association (CMA) will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their annual awards show and it has been revealed that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to host the milestone show.
Brad and Carrie began their run as hosts for the CMA Awards Show in 2008. The duo has become synonymous with the awards show doing such an entertaining job together over the past eight consecutive years.
Music Row reports that Brad made the initial announcement of his and Carrie’s return to the hosting duties last night (5/24) on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.
Shortly after the announcement on the show Brad posted the news on his Twitter account…
Last year they let me pull my pants down on national tv, wonder what they will let me do this year @carrieunderwood? pic.twitter.com/VyMeYCu7iR

Carrie also posted the news on her Twitter account…

One of the highlights that draw people back each year since Brad and Carrie have been hosting the annual CMA Awards Show is their opening monologue. You can watch last year’s opening monologue from Bard Paisley and Carrie Underwood in the video below.
The 50th Annual CMA Awards Show will be broadcast live November 2nd from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC. Nominees for the awards as well as performers and presenters will be announced in the coming months.
With this year being the 50th Anniversary CMA Awards Show, I can’t even imagine where that monologue will go. But, I bet it will be entertaining!
