First Round of CMT Music Awards Performers Announced

The first round of CMT Music Awards performers have been announced and the list includes what will be some amazing collaborative performances!

Blake Shelton will take the stage with the legendary country music icons The Oak Ridge Boys to perform the song “Doing It To A Country Song” which is on Blake’s new album If I’m Honest. The album was released today (5/20) and Blake posted the picture above to his Twitter account February 1st, the night they recorded the song in the studio.

Another sure to electrify collaboration will come when Keith Urban takes the stage with his “RipCORD World Tour” partners Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris to perform Keith’s latest single “Wasted Time.”

Additional performers for the show that were announced include Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason AldeanLuke Bryan and Thomas Rhett.

The 2016 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 8th at 7 PM central time/8 PM eastern time on CMT.
