Dierks Bentley holds at the #1 spot on the country singles charts for a second week with “Somewhere On A Beach.”
Last week he scored his 14th career number one and this week the song becomes a two-week chart topper according to the advanced Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.
The timing couldn’t be much better for Dierks. The song hit #1 the Monday before he kicked off his 2016 tour named after the song. Dierks even posted an opening weekend highlight video from his “2016 Somewhere On A Beach Tour” with special guests Randy Houser and Cam to his Twitter account that you watch below.

“Somewhere On A Beach” is also the lead single from the new album Black by Dierks Bentley that comes out in less than two weeks, Friday, May 27th.
The only way the timing of the two-week #1 could improve is if it were to hold the top spot for a third week for the week the new album is released.
Dierks will be bringing his 2016 tour to the Illinois State Fair Tuesday, August 16th.
Congratulations to Dierks Bentley on his two-week #1 single “Somewhere On A Beach.”
