Kenny Chesney made a surprise visit at the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at Auburn University when he kicked off his “Spread The Love Tour” there last weekend.

Kenny’s tour kicked off with special guests Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday, April 23rd. When the brothers of the university’s Lambda Chi chapter heard their college home would be the launch of the tour, they extended an invitation to their Alumni Brother to stop by for a visit. Kenny is an alum of the East Tennessee State University chapter of the fraternity.

The Lambda Chi members were not informed that Kenny was going to accept their invitation until shortly before the superstar was set to arrive.

Countryrebel.com reports that before word got out that the country music superstar was at the fraternity, he was able to take a tour of the house, take some pictures, sign some autographs and even sing a couple of songs for his Lambda Chi Brothers.

Kenny posted some pictures from his visit (including the one above) to his Facebook page. He also posted a short video of him singing “American Kids” with the brothers along with the message, “Getting ready for the kick off of the ‪#‎spreadthelovetour‬ at Auburn University with Lambda Chi. Some things don’t change. Friday afternoon at a frat is still an awesome place to be. Love you guys. ‪#‎americankids‬”. You can watch that short video here.

Below is a video of Kenny singing the song he wrote about his time at Lambda Chi at East Tennessee State called “Keg In The Closet.”
