Last night (4/13) was the first live results show on season 10 of The Voice. Which artists on Blake Shelton‘s team advanced to the top 12?
With the coach comeback artists and the artists that made it through the first three rounds on the show there was a total of 24 artists (six on each team) that began the night as The Voice hopefuls. By the end of the one-hour live results show each team had just three artists remaining to create the season 10 top 12.
Each team performed a song together as a group before the show’s host Carson Daly revealed which two artists from the team were voted through to the top 12 by America. Then, it was up to the team’s coach to choose which one of the remaining four artists would also move on to next week’s show.
Team Blake took the stage as a group and performed the Avicii hit song “Hey Brother” which you can watch at the bottom of the page. It was then revealed that Adam Wakefield and Mary Sarah were voted through by America’s vote.
Finally it was up to Blake Shelton to make the difficult decision to keep one more artist on Team Blake moving forward. He made the decision to keep Paxton Ingram on his team in the top 12.
You can find out which artists advanced to the top 12 on season 10 of The Voice on the other teams here.
Next week it is all up to America’s vote as the top 12 sing to remain on the show and the bottom artists in voting (regardless of which team they are on) will be eliminated. The top 12 will perform for your votes Monday, April 18th starting at 7 PM CT/8 PM ET time on NBC.
