The Battle Round continued last night (3/21) on season 10 of The Voice and Blake Shelton eliminated two artists and saved one during the show.
The coaches continued to work with their team advisers and artists to prepare for the battles and shape their teams for the next round of the award winning singing competition show. Now let’s look at what happened with Team Blake on last night’s episode of The Voice.
Blake paired Adam Wakefield with Jared Harder for the Battle Round. The two artists have a country-rock sound and style so Blake gave them the southern-fried rock song “Can’t You See” by The Marshall Tucker Band to perform. The performance was a good one and both Adam and Jared did a very good job. However, Blake could choose only one winner and he decided to advance with Adam Wakefield on his team.
In one of those montage videos that I am not a fan of, we found out that Blake paired Angie Keilhauer and Teresa Guidry to perform Sara Evans’ song “Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus.” Blake chose to keep Angie on Team Blake moving forward.
Finally, Christina paired Alisan Porter and Lacy Mandigo for a battle that they would sing the Sia-style version of the classic hit “California Dreamin'” by The Mamas & The Papas. Christina chose to keep Alisan and before she could get over to give a farewell hug to her eliminated artist, Blake hit his button to steal Lacy.
The Battle Round continues on season 10 of The Voice tonight at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern) on NBC TV.
