Pairings for the popular CMT Crossroads series for this year have been announced and they include names like Luke Bryan, Jason Derulo, Thomas Rhett, Nick Jonas and more.
The series combines the musical talents of artists from different genres to create one-of-kind concert experiences for fans to enjoy. The 2016 season of CMT Crossroads will kick off with Jennifer Nettles joining forces with the legendary rock band Cheap Trick. That episode will air March 24th at 11 PM ET/10 PM Central on CMT.
Throughout the summer this year additional episodes will feature Luke Bryan taking the stage with pop star Jason Derulo, Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum teaming up with Matchbox Twenty front man Rob Thomas and Thomas Rhett collaborating with pop star Nick Jonas.
If you recall, last August Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo collaborated through the music app Smule to perform Jason’s hit song “Want To Want Me.” The duet has racked up over six million views through the Smule video on YouTube alone. Watch that video below.
It looks like the new season of CMT Crossroads will again give viewers a unique and exciting one-of-a-kind musical experience this year.
