Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton all represented country music very well performing on the 58th GRAMMY Awards Show.
Sam and Carrie performed a mash-up of their songs “Take Your Time” (Sam Hunt) and “Heartbeat” (Carrie Underwood). The performance can be seen at the top of the page.
Little Big Town scored a GRAMMY win for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their song “Girl Crush” and the song writers scored a win for Best Country Song. The Grammy Award winning group performed their Grammy Award winning song on the show which you can watch above.
Lionel Richie was honored as the 2016 MusiCares® Person of the Year and as a result Luke Bryan joined John Legend, Demi Levato, Meghan Trainor and Tyrese for a tribute performance that ended with Lionel himself taking the GRAMMY stage. Watch the tribute performance for and with Lionel Richie above.
Chris Stapleton melds a blues sound with country music for his signature style. That made him a perfect choice to join Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt for a tribute to the late King of the Blues BB King which you can watch just above. Chris had a busy night as he also accepted two GRAMMY Awards for Best Country Album for Traveller and Best Country Solo Performance for the title track from the album.
