Garth Brooks took some time during a recent concert to sing “Happy Birthday” to Justin Timberlake (JT) and posted the video for all to see.

When Garth came out of retirement, he didn’t quickly embrace the whole social media thing. However, he has not only warmed up to the idea, it seems he has found out just how much fun it can be.

Last Sunday (1/31) is a perfect example. Garth was doing a concert in Baltimore, Maryland AND it happened to also be his buddy’s birthday. So, Garth decided to record a video birthday greeting with the help of the thousands of fans at his concert for JT.

Garth explains to the audience, “I hate this guy because he always looks like he’s 18. I hate this guy ’cause he’s got more talent in his pinky than my whole body. I hate this guy because my wife’s (Trisha Yearwood) in love with him. But I love this kid. He’s a kid named Justin Timberlake, and it’s his birthday today.”

The entire arena then sings “Happy Birthday” to JT led by Garth himself. You can watch the video that Garth posted to his Facebook page below.

Happy belated birthday JT!
