Justin Moore moved to Nashville to pursue his dream of being a country music singer. Now, he is taking his family and moving home.
Justin grew up in the town of Poyen, Arkansas where his family has owned the land they have all lived for generations. “I grew up on a piece of property that my grandfather, my mom’s dad owned,” he explains. “He bought it from his grandpa years and years and years ago and he grew up there.”
Now Justin wants to move his family back to the area where his parents raised him, “I’m looking for land back home to build because I want my kids to go to school where I did, etc. and be close to mom and dad.”
Justin’s grandfather had the perfect solution for him, “My grandfather came to me and said, ‘Why don’t you just buy this land?'”
What did Justin think of the idea? “Long story short, my wife and I bought the land where I grew up,” he reveals, adding, “Which is where my mom and dad still live, my grandpa still lives and a couple of aunts and uncles and so, we’re currently building the house that we’re gonna be in forever.”
Justin shared the picture above of he and his wife Kate walking with their daughters Ella Kole, Kennedy Faye and Rebecca Klein walking on the property where they are building their home on Twitter. He also shared the picture below on Twitter of the location for the home.
It looks like Justin and his girls will have a great location to grow together with plenty of support from their family literally right next door.
