Thomas Rhett‘s single “Die A Happy Man” reached a high mark only two others have in four years by spending a 5th week at #1 on the Billboard chart.
Since the beginning of 2012 there have only been two other songs that have spent at least four weeks at the top of the Billboard Country Radio Airplay singles chart. Those songs were Florida Georgia Line’s “Stay” and Luke Bryan’s “Play It Again.”
The advanced charts are out and “Die A Happy Man” is the #1 song for a 5th consecutive week on the Billboard chart and Thomas Rhett is on top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart for a fourth week straight as well.
The Platinum certified single “Die A Happy Man” is from Thomas Rhett’s sophomore album Tangled Up that can be found at music stores and digitally everywhere now. The song is the second Platinum selling #1 song from the album following the debut single “Crash And Burn” from the project.
“Die A Happy Man” has also become Thomas Rhett’s fifth consecutive Platinum selling #1 single. Previous to the two singles from Tangled Up, his debut album It Goes Like This produced #1 Platinum singles “Make Me Wanna” and “Get Me Some Of That” as well as the Double-Platinum #1 single “It Goes Like This.”
Thomas Rhett is currently out with Jason Aldean on the “We Were Here Tour.” The tour made a two-night stop at US Cellular Coliseum here in Bloomington, Illinois over the weekend (1/16 and 1/17). You can see our photos from the “We Were Here Tour” here.
Congratulations to Thomas Rhett on a fifth week at #1 with “Die A Happy Man.”
