Thomas Rhett is kicking off the new year in the same place he ended last year, at #1 with his single “Die A Happy Man.”

The first advanced charts for Billboard Country Radio Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck are out Thomas Rhett is in the top spot on both charts.

“Die A Happy Man” became the fifth number one for Thomas Rhett the week of Christmas 2015. Now as 2016 begins its first full week the song becomes the first chart topper of the year.

Thomas Rhett will be right here in Bloomington-Normal as part of Jason Aldean‘s “We Were Here Tour” for a two-night run of concerts January 16th and 17th.

Congratulations to Thomas Rhett for having the first #1 of 2016 with “Die A Happy Man.”
