Earlier this week (12/15) Cam was on the Today show where she received a platinum surprise and performed her hit song “Burning House.”

The country music singer-songwriter talked with hosts Willie Geist and Natalie Morales about several things including how a psychology professor helped her make the decision to pursue a musical career, her dress catching on fire during the filming of the “Burning House” music video, her Grammy nomination and more.

The hosts also surprised Cam by presenting her with a plaque to commemorate the sales of one million copies of the single “Burning House” before she performed the platinum-selling, top five hit song on the show. They also gave her a dozen roses in her favorite color, yellow.
