Brad Paisley crashed the Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) Christmas Party last Friday (12/11) with one of the many presents given to his friend and newly retired NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.
Brad pulled into the party driving one of the many presents that were given to Jeff that night. Brad drove a gray #24 race car complete with a decorative red bow on top onto the stage (pictured above). HMS also posted a video of Brad driving the car on the stage that you can see here.
Brad and Jeff have been friends for several years. Jeff even appeared in Brad’s 2011 music video for the hit song “Old Alabama.” You can watch the music video here.
Brad performed at the HMS party and posted the picture below on Twitter along with the message, “Thank you @JeffGordonWeb for great racing. No hazing the new kid in the press box @AllWaltrip.”
The final race of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup season was Jeff’s final race as a full-time driver. The 4-time NASCAR Champion will begin his new role as a TV commentator for FOX’s NASCAR coverage in 2016.
During his Hall Of Fame worthy career Jeff amassed 93 wins, 796 starts, 3 Daytona 500 victories and 4 Sprint Cup Championships. Jeff finished third in the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup driver standings for his final year racing.
