David Nail and his wife Catherine welcomed twin babies in time to celebrate Christmas as a family for the first time.
The couple said their “I Dos” in 2009 and become parents six years later. David and Catherine welcomed a boy and a girl Saturday night (12/12) at a local Nashville hospital.
People.com reports that son Lawson Brent Nail was born first at 7:44 am with daughter Lillian Catherine Nail arriving just minute later at 7:45 am.
David got on his Twitter account and re-tweeted a post from @PEOPLEbabies that feature a photo of his newborn twins which you can see below.
The “Whatever She’s Got” singer talked in November about the anxiety he was having over becoming a new dad, “I think the thing I’m most anxious about as far as being a father is the struggles that Catherine and I have had that we’ve been very public about. It’s been four or five years that we’ve been battling the issues of infertility and the fact that with the help of some amazing doctors in Nashville and science, we were able to conceive,” David said, adding, “just knowing how difficult it’s been, and just like anything, when times are tough and you come out on the other side, it makes it that much sweeter. They’re definitely going to be special, and we’ve already got their names picked out and the nursery’s done, and the bags are packed and ready to go to the hospital just waiting on that moment to come.”
Now the couple have their twins at home in that nursery and get to celebrate Christmas together as a family for the first time.
Congratulations to David Nail and his wife Catherine on the arrival of their son and daughter!
