Brothers Free a Trapped Bald Eagle after Taking a Selfie

Two brothers came across a bald eagle caught in a trap while they were hunting and freed the bird, but not before they took a selfie with it.

Canadians Michael and Neil Fletcher were out on a hunting trip when they spotted the bald eagle trapped on the ground. The two set up to video their efforts to free the bird.

Before they released the bird to fly away, they decided taking a selfies with the bird (seen above) was apple reward for their selfless act.

You can watch the video of the brothers getting the bird out of the trap and the video of them releasing the bird below.

While these two brothers did a great thing and were not injured in the process, remember that wild animals can be dangerous and usually are. The best bet in a situation like this is to notify the authorities so that they can send a trained expert to deal with the situation to avoid injury to yourself and the animal.
