Blake Shelton has been named the Sexiest Coach Alive by People magazine and Adam Levine thinks the magazine got it wrong.
Blake’s friend and fellow coach on “The Voice” thinks that People should have named Blake the Sexiest Man Alive overall instead of giving the honor to David Beckham.
Adam told E! News, “Listen, as far as I’m concerned, he is the Sexiest Man Alive. People magazine doesn’t know all. They don’t know the Blake I know. If they did, he’d be on the cover.”
Adam has received the honor of being named People’s Sexiest Man Alive before and believes that one day Blake will earn the title, “I just think you’ve got to work hard at it like I did. Just don’t get down. I know that it’s his No. 1 priority in life, so as long as he keeps working hard and being sexy-ish, like he kinda is with his thing, I think they’re going to come to him.”
He assured Blake it will happen when he added, “They’re going to call him one day and be like, ‘Blake, you’re welcome. Here it is. You are now the Sexiest Man Alive. Country or no country. This is your country.”
In the annual People Magazine issue featuring David Beckham on the cover as the Sexiest Man Alive, which is on newsstands now, Blake is named as the Sexiest Coach Alive. Blake gives credit for the honor to his home state of Oklahoma which he says is sexy, “Oklahoma is sexy because it’s full of wide open spaces. There are areas where I live that there is NO one around for miles and miles.” He says that, “can make for some sexiness.”
Congratulations to Blake Shelton on the honor from People magazine. Wow, that means I’ve kissed People’s Sexiest Coach Alive!
