Jason Aldean wrapped up his “2015 Burn It Down Tour” over the weekend and did it in style with a huge donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation of over $615,000!
The final stop on Jason’s massively successful 2015 tour was in West Palm Beach, FL Saturday night, October 24th and it also served as his 10th Annual “Concert for the Cure.”
Over the course of the year Jason took a portion of his ticket sales for his tour to donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. That all added up to Jason presenting a check at Saturday night’s concert for more than $615,000 to help find a cure.
Jason said on his website, “I know firsthand how important it is to find a cure for breast cancer. So, looking out from the stage Saturday night at a sea of pink was a pretty cool way to end the tour. For ten years now the fans have been helping us support Komen and I know we’re going to keep it up until nobody has to fight the disease anymore.”
Those of us in central Illinois will have a chance to help Jason’s efforts in 2016 as he will be bringing his “2016 We Were Here Tour” to US Cellular Coliseum for two nights January 16th and 17th.
Congratulations to Jason Aldean on a great “2015 Burn It Down Tour” and an amazing donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
