A few weeks ago, Lady Antebellum announced that they would be taking a break at the end of their Wheels Up Tour before going back into the studio. So naturally Charles Kelley decided he needed something to do with his time off…with a new baby on the way, you would think he would decide to slow down, but not Charles…he is going SOLO!

Yesterday Charles announced plans to release a solo project. No word on a release date, but sometime in 2016 Charles Kelley could have one of the most talked about album’s of the year.

Charles did make sure to mention:

“I wouldn’t have done this without Hillary and Dave giving me their blessing. Lady Antebellum will always be my focus.”

“Lady Antebellum will never break up, mark my words. But I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone.”

Good for him! New baby and new album on the way for Charles Kelley!
